At Places for People, we are committed to providing excellent service to all our customers. However, with the additional delays that occurred during the Coronavirus pandemic, a shortage of operatives in the sector and difficulties with sourcing materials, some of our services are currently falling short of the standards we should deliver. We are looking at ways to ensure we are able to deliver the excellent standards of service you can expect from us and we hope these delays are temporary.
To make sure our customers receive help quickly for an emergency repair we have reviewed and updated our emergency repairs criteria, so that we can focus our resources on our residents when they need it most.
We have some outstanding repairs that need to be completed and our team is working hard to complete them. If you have a tradesperson, contractor, or any other Places for People colleague visiting you in your home, please be reassured that all visits are carried out with social distancing guidelines in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all. This remains our top priority.
If you have an outstanding repair, we apologise again for the delay and thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this time.
If you’re reporting a new repair, please bear with us if it takes longer than usual to resolve it. For some types of repairs, and in some locations we may take up to 60 days to complete your repair. We’re prioritising emergency repairs to ensure we’re doing everything we can to keep our customers safe and secure.
